An image captcha is not a checkbox
2026-01-10 · Captchas
Digits, letters, and Hindi sums are pictures. A checkbox captcha is a browser widget.
The word captcha covers two products. An image captcha is a PNG or JPEG with characters in it. A checkbox captcha watches the browser and sometimes asks for squares of a photo.
This API is for the picture. You base64-encode the bytes and send them. The JSON field text is what you type. There is no cookie and no tile grid.
If the page never gives you an image URL, there is nothing to send. A screenshot of the whole window includes menus and buttons the model was not trained on. Crop to the captcha.
Accepted formats are PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, TIFF, BMP, and a restricted SVG. The limits are 5 MB, 4 megapixels, and 4096 pixels on a side.
