How the numeric captcha solver works

  1. Only digits are allowed. With numeric: true the decoder considers 0–9 and nothing else, so it can't answer with a letter the form would reject.
  2. Exactly the right length. With length set, the best-scoring sequence of exactly that many digits wins, instead of whatever the raw read happened to produce.
  3. Look-alikes become digits. O → 0, l/I → 1, S → 5, B → 8, Z → 2, G → 6.
  4. A confidence you can act on. reliable: false means refresh the captcha and try again. That answer isn't charged.

Solve a numeric captcha in your language

Use {"numeric": true, "length": 6} in place of the sample's options. Each SDK has its own install guide.

Arithmetic and Hindi-number captchas too

Many portals ask a sum instead of a code. With math: true, “14 + 9 = ?” returns 23. If the numbers are written in Hindi (बयालीस − 6), add hindi: true. See the Hindi captcha solver.

Frequently asked questions

How do I solve a numeric captcha with an API?

POST the captcha image (base64) to /v1/solve with numeric: true and, if you know it, length. The response's text field holds the digits, ready to type into the form. It takes about 25 ms.

Why send the length?

With length: 6 the decoder returns exactly six digits. It can't drop a faint digit or add one from a noise line, which is where most numeric captcha errors come from.

What if the captcha has letters that look like digits?

With numeric: true only digits are allowed, so look-alikes are folded: O and o become 0, l and I become 1, S becomes 5, B becomes 8 and so on.

How accurate is it?

On 60 real numeric captchas from six Indian government portals it answered 88% correctly with no tuning, and 98% of the answers it marked reliable were right. Unreliable answers aren't charged, so refresh the captcha and try again.

How much does a numeric captcha cost?

₹25 per 1,000 answers on the starter pack, down to ₹20 per 1,000. New accounts get 5000 free credits. Pay by UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), card or netbanking.

Can it also solve arithmetic captchas?

Yes. Send math: true and “14 + 9 = ?” comes back as 23. Hindi-number sums like ‘बयालीस − 6’ work with math and hindi both true.
