Use the reading once. The portal will not accept it for a second form, and the API will not improve it.
Pair each portal image with one API call and one form post. After the portal accepts or rejects it, that image is finished.
A batch is the exception that still follows the rule. POST /v1/solve_batch takes up to 256 images and returns results in the same order. Each item is its own captcha with its own reliable flag and its own charge. Do not send duplicates to fill the batch.
If you are solving for several users, keep their images apart. Mixing two sessions in one batch is fine only when you can put each text back on the right form.
The batch body limit is 64 MB on the server deployment and 6 MB on Lambda. A normal captcha is a few kilobytes, so the count of images runs out before the byte limit does.
