The next solve is 402. In-flight calls already reserved their credits. New calls stop.
Credits are reserved before the model runs, with one conditional update. Two calls cannot spend the last credit twice. The loser gets 402 insufficient_credits and the current balance.
A background task reserved at submit. It can still finish after the visible balance is zero, because its credit is already held. A new submit cannot start.
The low-balance alert is the warning before this, if you set a threshold above zero. Zero is a stop, not a warning.
Buy a pack or wait for a report refund. Retrying the 402 does not create credits.
