Low-balance alerts

2026-04-22 · Billing

One HTTPS webhook fires when a charged solve drops you under a threshold you choose.

PUT /v1/alert stores one alert for the account. You choose a threshold, a URL, and a JSON payload. When a charged solve leaves the balance below that threshold, the service POSTs the payload once.

The URL must be HTTPS on port 443 and must resolve to a public address. Redirects are not followed. The body is not read. The timeout is 10 seconds. Templates {{credits}}, {{threshold}}, and {{time}} are filled in.

The alert disarms after it fires. A purchase that brings the balance back to the threshold or above arms it again. POST /v1/alert/test sends it now, at most once every 10 seconds.

GET reads it and DELETE removes it. 404 no_alert means nothing is stored.
